  I've lived in the area for 10 years now, and when I originally knew this place everyone called it Pickles. Now that it's St Anne's Fine Foods it's still the same staff and products. On the front counter there is a massive selection of cheeses, cooked meats, pâté, fresh rolls etc. At the back is a sandwich bar that does - and I'm not exaggerating - the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Thick, soft doorstop bread with a great chewy crust (get the Granary) and a huge selection of pre-made sandwich fillings, roasted meats, hot meats, breakfast items, salad, sauces and mayos. They do soups too. I live about a half hour away from it now and still happily made the trip this morning. Fantastic!
