  Atrocious customer service! I booked my car in for the automatic transmission fluid to be changed, and a few other bits and pieces. At the time of booking (a few weeks in advance), as I needed a Saturday appointment they asked if I could be there first thing at 9am - just in case the job took longer than anticipated. I agreed this was fine and I would make sure I was there on time. So far so good all the female staff who take the calls in the office and got me prices were all very helpful and efficient. The day before my appointment I called to confirm I was still booked in and I was told mine was booked for 'the first job of the day'. I turned up at 9am and there was me and a few other customer waiting outside in the rain until about 9.10am when the key holder turned up - not the best start to things I thought, but I handed over my keys nonetheless, confirmed the works they were due to carry out and checked they had my correct contact number to call me when it was ready for collection. The works were due to take an hour or so, so I headed off and waited for a call - which never came. I decided to return to the garage nearly two hours later to find my car, suspiciously parked in the same place I left it. Fearing the worst that my car hadn't even been looked at - I went to reception to inquire. No one was around and it took me about 10 minutes to track someone down in the workshop to tell me, it hadn't even been looked at! The staff were very unapologetic and offered no explanation for this situation - they clearly had a busy workshop and would not have had time to complete my job before closing time, even if they started work on it straight away (2 hours after they were supposed to). I had been personally recommended to the garage and this is why I traveled what was a 2 hours round trip, used at least £35 in petrol and booked a day off work as holiday to have my works carried out by a decent garage. Instead I left out of pocket and extremely disappointed and angry that I had been messed around and treated like this. My car still needs fixing and I have no faith in Granville Auto Centre anymore and I'd encourage anyone else to look elsewhere unless you want the same mistreatment.
